Our take
I wanted to make my own heavy dumbbells and these handles are exactly what I needed. The 16-inch length is perfect for loading plates, and the chrome finish looks great. The rotating sleeves are smooth, which reduces wrist strain during curls and presses. The knurling is very nice—not too aggressive but grippy. At 100 lb capacity, they handle anything I can throw at them. The only con is that you need to buy plates separately, but that's expected. These are well worth the price.
