I picked up this 40 lb CAP Barbell set hoping for a budget-friendly adjustable dumbbell. The cast iron plates feel solid and the adjustment is straightforward—just spin the collars. At $62.89 it's hard to beat for a 40 lb set. However the plates are a bit rough around the edges and the collars can loosen during use if not tightened well.
